Can anyone ID this little fellow?

Well, i just won this little guy on ebay. He's butt ugly, but i guess that's why i find him so endearing. :) I realize this is a contemporary stand, but is he a traditional character, perhaps from the wayang?

HE LOOKS MORE TIKI LIKE THAN WAYANG LIKE BUT I LIKE IT ANYWAY. OF COURSE I WOULD AS I HAVE A TIKI COLLECTION AMONG MY MANY COLLECTIONS :D NOT A BAD PRICE FOR A CARVEING OF THAT SIZE UNLESS THE SHIPPING GETS OUT OF HAND. CONGRADULATIONS! NOW TO DECIDE WHAT TYPE OF KERIS TO ENTRUST TO HIM.

Yep, that is the question, which is why i am trying to sort out who he might be. Since he is already here in the U.S. the shipping is only $15, so i think i got a pretty good deal. I think no one but me and one other guy were interested in him because he is so homely, but both the misses and i though he was kinda cute. I think he is from Bali so i doubt he's a tiki. He looks like some kind of mischievous demon to me, somewhat impish.
:)
