Have just received this Jambiya. Silver quality is not high, but not low either. About middle of the road as these things go. The blade inscription is NOT scratched on like so many we see, and is tidily inlet, as is the fish and other decoration. Not sure if I have the writing up the right way but if someone can translate it would be much appreciated.
Regards Stu

Am glad you like it mate. The blade says "malbous al afya" which translate to "wear with good health" its a common phrase used when a new piece of cloth or wearable stuff is purchased.

Nice one Stu!
Are those leather straps binding it? What's the back like?

-Wear it in good health! ;)

Hi Gene,
Yes leather straps. Pic of back herewith. The "makers mark" is one of those attached later I think, though could have been applied at time of making.
