Knobkerrie. 3 Attachment(s) I picked this up at a fleamarket a few years ago, in the hope that it was a genuine knobkerrie. Very dense wood, with some age and a good polish/patina, but a lentoid head rather than the standard sphere/ball. Length 35 inches or 89 centimetres. Comments and advice invited and welcomed. |

1 Attachment(s) In real life it is a litttle darker, but not by a lot. Paid a fiver for it, so no huge investment, but would be interested in other opinions on what it is and where from, though I assume some part of Africa . I sometimes carry it as a walking stick, when portraying a Victorian or Steampunk persona. |

2 Attachment(s) Interesting shaped head  ;) May not be African but South Pacific island? Actually I do have this similar shaped head Zulu knobkerrie in my collection made of two toned wood. |
