One of the newest blades I've got, nothing too special. I liked it because the scabard is original, cleaned yes but original. and I like the feel of the blade, the hilt is a bit small for my hand but well made out of silver and horn. I'll probably return this if I find a better one btu for now this would be a nice complement to my jezzail.

For a long while I never taught much of these weapons, seeing them in drawings or what not I always wondered about thier usefulness. But seeing them up close and studying 'em, I find them to be greatly utiliterian and usefull weapons. Especially for the time frame it was mainly used, it is great for stabing, hacking and it would be a good for armor peircing as well.

Sorry, I can't recall the source of this print. It shows the Khyber Salawar in action!
