My access to swap forum was blocked

This is question to administrators: I wanted to reply an advertisement in swap forum, but my access is blocked, while here I can post. Why ?

Martin, you have to send a private message to the seller or email.
Only admins/mods and the original poster can reply to a thread in the swap forum now.

Thanks for the answer Atlantia and this is, of course true.
I would like to point out, however, that if you have a question like this it does not belong in the public forum. A PM to any moderator will get you an answer to your questions without making a public issue of it. :)

Something I would suggest ; we should all keep an eye on our PM count and delete old messages . :)

Sorry David, didn't mean to overstep there. Thought Martin would want the answer straight away so he could PM the seller.

No over-step at all Gene. My point was that this never needed to be a thread in the first place as a simple PM could have answered all Martin's questions.
