ARABIAN SPEAR / LANCE ?

Re Kahnjars request , I checked through my stuff and so far have come up wit a possible contender based on a description given in Elgood . First of all an apology to Elgood . In my reply to Khanjar , I criticised Elgood for not supplying any decent photos of lances... as you can see I have found it nigh impossible to make a full length pic of mine .. 8 foot long and about half inch diameter is a tricky proposition.
My spear / lance has some of the characteristics of Burtons description of a mirzhak javelin given in Elgood . Mine is 8' long o/a, with a shaft of 3'9'' and the iron head of 4'3''. The socket alone is 8'' long with a diameter of under 1''. The iron head or business end oddly consists of a series of 3'' sections of lozenge cross section , joined end to end , but alternating so that each lozenge is 180 degrees to the one it is joined to . I have tried to show this but the iron is so badly corroded that it may be difficult to discern . There appears to be no decoration . There may have been an iron heel but this is not present. The shaft appears to be nobbly male bamboo.
I may be way off with my ID so would welcome any comments from members .
