Hello,

Nice piece. These sosoun pata with extreme curvature are often called oxe-cutters, probably due to their sacrificial usage. The engraved eye at the tip recalls Nepalese sacrificial koras and the ram dao.
The clipped tip looks like a relatively new modification though and the blade and handle marriage does not look original. IMO the blade would have had a better fit to the handle initially.
