Hi! everyone,
For those like david who were jealous and could not make the trip. ;) :)
Some of the pics I could make. Sorry for the bad quality but It was not really easy.
It’s a great museum, with magnificent pieces.. I went there 3 times with the same pleasure and There are much more pieces to see. I just encourage all of you to make the trip and to see by yourself . They have done a great job.

The Same Palembang Keris

Bravo, Cedric,
Yes, you need a couple of times to examine all of the museum's immense collections. Once, the curator said to me, some of the keris collection they put by turns, because of the limited spaces in the museum of the 17th century. They have still more kerises in their museum warehouse...

(This is two other threads on this great museum in Jakarta and its collections, the National Museum of Jakarta or like Cedric has written -- Museum Gajah or Elephant Museum)

I was fortunate too, for having an opportunity on photographying some collections, and having touch them by hand... The same Palembang keris, like Cedric had captured in his recent photos....
