what pamor is this?

I recently acquired a nice spear with a certain tipe of pamor.
I've been looking for the name of this pamor, but I cant figure it out. the similar pamor tipe I evr seen looks like ' dadung muntir' but this one is much wider. Any idea? |
Dadung Muntir is definitely thinner than this.
It could well be Mega Sungsun. However, most mega sungsuns i've seen are, like it name suggest, are of more symmetrical patterns. Yours are a little bit abstract pattern. I dunno if mega sungsun do need to be off symmetrical pattern left and right, but most i've seen surely were. |
Ferry, it would be easier to take a punt on a name if we could see the entire blade, then a close up, however, based upon what I can see at the moment, I'm inclined to lean towards kembang angreh.

Thanks Ferry.
Sorry but I'm not prepared to back kembang angreh, or anything else. To be able to give a reasonably defensible opinion of an unclear or unusual pamor motif we need to be able to see and understand how the motif was made, and try as I might I cannot see this from the photos. Again Ferry, my apologies, but this is one of those blades that I could only comment on if it were in my hand. |
hello when I look to the tombak
the pamor looks strong to kenanga ginubah but it seems that the empu made an error with forged the pamor kenanga ginubah regards semar |

the pamor it self is a little bit disturbed. if only the right side and the left side meet exactly in the centre, it would become a kupu tarung pamor. thank you all for the comments upon my threat. I would like to post another one soon. |
You have it in your hand, Ferry.
Try to understand how it was made and what the maker was trying to produce. Maybe it is as you say, a kupu tarung that did not succeed, but to know this you must understand how kupu tarung is made and see if that evidence is in the blade. |
