Hi,
Erlikhan my transcription is as follows:

Zifir thank you very much. However, according to your translation the two inscriptions have exactly the same name, both for the owner and for the artist. is it correct?

Zifir 20th July 2009 07:06 AM

Well, I think here "üstad" does not necessarily mean the artist. As far as I can tell, the name of the owner present in both inscriptions. But I can't say I am 100% sure.

"Ustaz" is a sign of respectful address in Arabic, similar to "Manager" or "Boss".

..And can you please help about these inscriptions, which exist in both faces? i tried to picture them in two pictures for each inscription. According to me darker is better in this case, but i have brighter pictures too,if you prefer.

thanks a lot
