A fine Sulawesi Bugis keris up for sale.

It shows a slightly bend blade and good Ujung gunung pamor (all in an original setting and good fitting), the superb hilt in a shape of an abstract Garuda, carved from hardwood, big heavy selut / pendokok, the scabbard of patinated wood with some aging signs. Look at the slant pattern! The wrangka of nicely shiny (chattoyance) Kemuning kayu wood. Probably late 19th century or start 20th century.

Length: 40 cm
Price: 250 Euro.
