This is the back side, please show the front.
Appears to be mid-20th c, still a good work.

Well, my friend, I can guess if a woman is pretty from the back side...
I'm afraid to say that this majdali is not really nice and not old...
:(

These daggers originated from a Golan Druze village Majjal Shams, Tower of the Sun.
They became popular as souvenirs especially when the Golan Heights were captured by Israel in 1967.
Then they became manufactured in many places in Syria and Lebanon.
My guess, post 1967. This one is pretty simple, the fancy ones have bright and multicolored stacked handles and ( often) etched inscriptions on the blade.
Some are dated on the handle or on the blade; I have never seen one with the 19th century date.
