Interesting Eastern (??) African Club

Hello everybody,
I would like to know more about this interesting club. I bought it as an eastern african – perhaps ugandan – example, but I think it is rather a somali club. (I saw something similar item on two old somali postcards) Any help will be welcome. How old could be? Thank you.

I HAVE SOMETHING VERY SIMULAR WITH THE SPIKE TOP LIKE YOURS BUT HAD ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS AN OCEANIC CLUB. I NEVER DID FIND SOMETHING EXACTLY LIKE IT AND HAD NOT SEEN THE SIMULAR EXAMPLES FROM SOMALIA.
I MADE A COUPLE OF JOKES ABOUT MY EXAMPLE. 1. IT IS A PLUG IN PEG LEG FOR A LEPRECAUN
2. IT WAS A VERY EARLY OLYMPIC TORCH BEFORE FIRE WAS INVENTED. :D
I WILL TRY AND REMEMBER WHERE I GOT THE IDEA IT WAS OCEANIC IN ORIGIN. GOOD LUCK
