Up for sale is a beautiful, 100% authentic Kindjal from Caucasus, late 19 to early 20th C. Original wooden scabbard is covered with original black leather. Scabbard has silver chased and nielloed fittings decorated with beautiful ornaments. Silver marks "84" from the back side of the fittings.

Dimensions:
Total length – 21.5 inches (54.5 centimeters)
Blade only - 14.3 inches (36.3 CM)
Width of blade - 1.7 inches (4.4 cm)

What kind of new?
Asuming the hallmark is not faked, the girl (kokoshnik) facing left went on from 1899 to 1908; only then it turned right.

This is no judgement for the price, though.
