13 inches long,1 and a quarter wide across top of blade, handle 3 and 3 quarters long,marine ivory?,interesting wootz pattern,any comments welcome

Can't tell you much about the kard with the exception that I like it. :D
But the handle scales are from walrus ivory.

Nice, good quality Indo-Persian kard (more Indian in my opinion) with nice wootz blade. The striation lines are naturally occured and add to the beauty of the pattern.

I'll display my new one when I get back to the USA. I've lusted over it since I saw it 2 years ago here in Jaipur.

Basically my favorite dagger. Supremely functional.

well i bought it a few months ago, got around to looking at it properly a couple of weeks agoi particularly like the walrus handle , probably 18th century you say indian ,dare i say mughal ?,it feels very good in the hand,nice balance to it,i love the pattern,have to say among my favorites,nice to see that the kard you bought was obviously meant for you,lovely pattern quite fine not that im claiming to be an expert on wootz which i always pleasing,though its a subject i would like to know more about,any contributions on the subject welcome. :D
