Hello all
Really have no idea if this is European, ethnic, a weapon or a kitchen knife.
About 14" long, three rivets through handle to secure blade, which not very thick.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Andy

Looks like a French chef's knife to me. I've a newer, small version in
the kitchen exactly the same design.

Chef's knife turn of the century ; probably French . I've got a 10.5 inch example with a pearwood handle in the same configuration . On the blade there is stamped a running devil with a trident .
A nice kitchen knife ; it came from Lee Valley Tools who were offering a stock of antique European cutlery that was discovered in an old warehouse .
