So last month I visited Yemen especially in order to meet local Jambiya traditions. So I want to share few pics at this forum

There were some really nice turkish swords in other hall, but the museum staff didn't like me taking pictures there for some reason so I had to retreat :(

Thanks for the additional pictures. The sword on the left in this picture was what I was hoping to see. I notice that the spiral silver strip seen on newly made yemeni swords is on a lot of these. Great suff!

Very nice!!! Thank you so much for sharing. Love those broad swords with deep fullers, as well as the variety of really nice modern jambiyas available in the market - my kind of shopping paradise!
