Possible Polish or Russian Sabre

Hello, hope you are all well.

I have an interesting sabre with a raised yelman that I want to identify. I plan to gently clean and put it on the wall.

I once had a 1798 Russian Sabre, left me interested in such things.

I have seen a Polish sabre from the mid 1790's that looked similar to this piece.

I have also seen Russian 1817 Patt sabres that seemed similar.

Would be interested in your opinions, maybe there is something I am overlooking.

The wood grip has a sort of lacquer on it, and seems potentially fragile, but is solid for now. There is no collar at the throat of the scabbard, which makes it rattle a bit. There is one half of the wooden liner remaining (pictured).

No markings that I can find.

Many thanks in advance.

Here is a French issued Polish Lancers sabre, sold at a well known antique website, for comparison.
