UNUSUAL OLD CLUB FORM

THIS CLOSED ON EBAY WITH TWO OTHER NICE OLD CLUBS. IT IS AN UNUSUAL FORM SAID TO BE FROM THE 19 CENTURY FROM FIJI AND IS 36 AND THREE QUARTERS INCH LONG. THE FORM AND SIZE MORE CLOSELY RESEMBLES CLUBS FROM NEW HEBRIDES AND ITS SURROUNDING AREA. SUCH A FORM COULD HAVE COME FROM FIJI OR ITS OWNERS ARRIVED IN FIJI FOR DINNER AND THE CLUB WAS KEPT AS A KEEPSAKE. :D THE FIBER IS RATHER UNUSUAL.
I HAD PLANNED TO BID BUT THE BIG BOYS WERE THERE SO MY CASH WAS NOTHIN BUT TRASH. :p |
