An interesting old short sword blade...any ideas?

This just finished on eBay. Thought it may be African, cental 'rib; is 1/4" (approx, 7mm) blade 21" rat tail tang 5". There is two rows of dots along the centre.

Too much for a 'speclative' bid, but have my suspicions that it could be worth more than the final bid

Would anyone have any ideas as to origin ?

Looks very much like an east african spear head with a shovel profile But it has no socket for the haft. Strange item.

I think I have just found a possibility, Freddy has just started a thread on Yaka swords, one he shows has all the 'design elements' of the posted blade
