Hi Jean-Luc,
The mark on your second halberd is familiar to me and I can refer to you a few examples, but I don't think this mark has ever been identified. More-or-less similar marks appear on various halberds, but none of the same type as yours... the closest matches might be VII.1028 in the Royal Armouries, A966 in the Wallace Collection, and KZ-123 in Zurich.

The same (or very similar) mark appears on a few corseques or "Friuli spears"... bit of puzzle since these seem a bit separated in time and place from the halberds. One is in Venice, another is in Berlin (the mark is visible on page 244 of Europaische Hieb- und Stich-waffen). Might be another in Vienna, and at least one more in a private collection.

With a bit of imagination, the mark on the gauntlet can resemble the coat of arms of Saxony... the crossed swords on the left signify the hereditary office of the Imperial Arch-Marshal.

best,
Mark

The mark at the gauntlets is IMHO identical with the sign on the buttcap of a black wheellock pistol of Saxony of 1592

Well done! My only doubt was that I had never seen the garland in the Saxon arms shaped as a semicircle, but that settles that. :)
