Crossbow Vietnamese/ Cambodian

Hello all,

It's been awhile since I posted and thought this would be something different from my usual posts on bladed weapons. It's a wooden crossbow I just picked up for a good price. The bow you can see is of very large proportions: 55 inches long approx 4.58 feet! Any info people might add is most welcome as I know little about these crossbows other than they where common throughout the SEA mainland and used primarily for hunting. This particular one I was told was collected in the 1960's from either Vietnam or Cambodia by the sellers father.

Nice piece. I have one, nearly identical. Mine has a different style trigger/latch.
