I don't really see the point of discussing this on the keris forum Gav, unless we want to speak specifically about the hilt itself. Nothing else about this blade is really relevant to us.

David, please, discuss the hilt if it and the pendokok interest you, more may follow.

I find it very surprising, well perhaps not, that the history within such an interesting object, distinctly relevant to the Sumatran culture, one important enough to bear the Jawa Demam hilt is so easily dismissed...but as I said from the start, if the you and the moderators feel it has no place, remove the thread, it can be seen and read in the main page.
