Hello Luc,

it's a Phia Kaetta from Ceylon, a Singhalese dagger, you will find many threads about this dagger. One just ended by e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEDWX:IT
I byself don't know so much about, but I like them very much.

This is a piha kaetta from Sri Lanka. I believe there is a nice article about these in the ethnographic forum resource guide.
