Hi Jean and David, attached. Keris made using luwu material by the late Bugis Panre Samang.

Thanks, very nice piece with a complex pamor pattern for a Bugis blade!
I am also curious to know where the scabbard & hilt were made (Sulawesi, Bali/ Lombok, or Java or Sumatra?).
Sorry for my hasty reaction but many kris sellers or even auction houses do not show the blade and it makes me mad as how could you appraise somebody by just seeing his clothes? :D

No offence taken and not at all, most welcome.

As it is modern made, therefore not surprise to see complex pamor in a Bugis bilah compare to the past and the old craftsman always make this kind of pamor before he passed away decades ago.

For dress, it is Sulawesi which I believed and made with details.

Thank you Antony. The quality of the embossed silver scabbard is much better than the pieces which I saw in Ujung Pandang some 25 years ago, and this is why I asked you about its origin.
