I was about to translate but then I saw the oriental-arms water mark in the bottom of both pics, so I am not sure if that is a violations or not so I'll hold off till it is cleared.

I purchased it from Oriental Arms so I don't think there is any violations here. also no price info is posted anywhere. Please go ahead with translation if you can.

Watermarked Pictures

It is always a judgement call for a moderator when 'watermarked' pictures appear in a discussion forum. A buyer posting the seller's archive pictures in investigating a new acquisition is usually not problematic, unless from a moderator's perspective it appears to be a shill promotion or the opposite, deliberate defamation of a seller. I do not view this particular case as problematic, but members should not expect precision from the moderators in such judgements and should comply with related requests from moderators.

I would assume that the seller (Artzi) would be interested in knowing the translation as well, here is the description.

Here is a very good quality battle axe head. Very good high carbon steel signed blade 5 1/2 rear spike 2 1/2 inches. The blade has true inlay brass decoration. we are not sure about the origin it could be Turkey or Syrian Very good condition. 19C.

THE MADE BY MARK.

Salaams All...ITS AN AMAL MARK...AMAL...WORKED OR MADE BY. stamped in the first rectangle...followed by a name in the second... I think Abdullah...The third I cant quite make out.

Regards,
Ibrahiim al Balooshi.

Thank you for the help. Yes it reads "ameli abdullah", meaning maker is Abdullah. I have better pictures of the bottom part and I will try to post it here later today. I hope you someone can read that part. It isa very beautiful piece.
I also think Artzi would be happy to find out what is written there as well :)
Matter of fact this axe has a twin brother. Also has the same stamp. the design of the axe is slightly different. I bought that from Artzi as well. I will post pictures later inshallah!
