Hello to all
could you give me the origin and age of this belt buckle...It measures 20cm long x 8.5 cm high.
I think what is gold a gold...

That is probably Greek, or generally from the Balkans, 18-19th century.(Porpi in Greek.)
This was feminine jewelry, and no armor.

Hi Weapons27. I have always found these buckles interesting. In your case, I have to agree with Sylektis here. (By the way, nice photos).
Now that you mentioned buckles, here are two original buckles I had "adjustable" leather belts made for. :rolleyes: The first one is Ottoman shown with two original bullet containers. The second is Caucasian/Circassian. Thanks for posting. Rick.
