Hello forum, I am Horsa the Anglo-Saxon - collector of Islamic arms, armour and art, and their European equivalents.

I'm mainly into maces, warhammers and axes.

Recently I visited Doha MIA and I have photos to share of this excellent, world class art collection. Fantastic art and a first class building too!

I took some photos while there.

Cheers!
Horsa

nice pics. That Emperor Shah Jahans dagger must be worth millions. I heard one was sold in an auction for a large amount. It might be this one.

Salaams all~ The monumental and fantastic building is also matched in their gigantic Museum Catalogue which I just happen to have ... Half the publication which is lined with silk is committed to the new Museums architecture in its own right ~ It is fabulous...

Regards,
Ibrahiim al Balooshi.
