CAN I GET MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS LEATHER SHIELD AND SPEAK,KIND REGARDS RAJESH

These have an East African look to me. The shield looks to have an Ethiopian/Somali ie north. The spear I think is from further south.

That's what I was thinking.

From the images, the spear looks to be from South-East Africa (maybe Mashona or Yao ?). However the construction of the shield with the four metal rivets through the leather, is Indian not African.

However, there should be borne in mind the anomaly of Indian style knives with apparent African provenances as discussed previously on another thread....

east african leather shield normally have leather hand grips.

Sumba shields came up in my mind.
But they have a rattan rim, where this shield has the rim made by bending up the leather...
