indian quiver?

Hello Forum,

Last month i got a quiver "free of charge" with a lot of indian arrows from a german auction house.

Is the quiver also of indian heritage? I compared with several resources but i did not find my peculiar construction until now.
Its made out of blue velvet and only works when hanging from somewhere. A belt maybe.

If you place it on the ground the top holder drops down rendering it useless.

Has somebody seen something like this?

thanks and kind regards

Can’t really say about the quiver. But from the looks of the arrows and the ones ive seen, they seem lik they from India or the middle east. But i also do not know much about bow and arrows. Unless the arrowhead shape is very distinct, lik the crescent moon shape arrow, i guess you cant be totally certain.
