Unknown sword - Indonesian(?), but what/where?

Got this one about 3 years ago. Other than it being some kind of Indonesian sword, it's a mystery to me. Supposed to have been collected in about 1960.

Any ideas?

It looks like a kabeala from Sumba with a crude replaced handle.

Have had the same thought when I see the blade! But the sheath is strange as well, look for example here: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...hlight=kabeala

Could the more modern ones have a simpler style on the sheath? It looks like this one is somewhat similar.
