Good luck for the first person to solve what these 2 items I acquired are.
Hint they are both Native from Prince Edward Island Canada.

Hi Joe,
Item one is a eel fishing spear (self explanatory)
Item two is for leading bulls or large animals
You put pincher into the nose, squeese the handle and catch the middle bit of the nose, then you can lead the docile animal.
Do I win a prize?
Regards
Ken

thanks for trying,
Item one is an eel fishing spear, specifically mi'kmaq , for the Winter, the summer version is different.

Item Two, Is locally called, fox tongs, used for restraining foxes by the neck, during the gold rush that was the silver fox fur trade.

#2 is indeed a skinning knife similar to the Grren River types used on the plains mid-/late 19th. #3 might be a so-called corn or tobacco knife or cutter? These are often falsely portraited to be 'Confederate' side knives...

"Nando, nice gaff/gig! These were also used to spear frogs (at least on this side of the 'pond')
