Karabelas for comment...

Just acquired this pair of karabelas.
Wood (?) hilted one has an engraved blade with what appears to be a Polish slogan, like many polish sabres. The fullered blade has what looks like a parabolic curce. Gilt Hilted one has a Yelman. The blade may have a shallow fuller. Blade may have engraving or etching not very apparent in photos. More details on arrival... Any comments or info appreciated...Thanks. |
These are vintage replicas from the late 1900's made is Eastern Europe, likely Poland.
