shopping in Jerusalem

I am preparing to go to Israel. I will be mostly in Jerusalem. I wonder if there are reputable dealers in antique weapons there that members of this forum would recommend I seek out.

Artzi Yarom: Oriental Arms.

He is in Haifa, but it is only 1-5-2 h drive from Jerusalem.

I think his son Avner has a shop in either Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.

Look up Oriental Arms on the net and email them for info.

And How does one visit a post office box?

Avner is the one having a "real" shop, not Artzi who only has a virtual shop.
The shop is in Jaffa (next to Tel-Aviv).

Send him a mail.

Note: of course Jerusalem is a wonderful experience as a whole, but it is full of "antique tourist traps" with just a bunch of legit antiquities stores, working with license, premium prices.
It is WELL WORTH the trouble to travel one hour from Jerusalem to Tel-Aviv/Jaffa. Old Jaffa has been under extensive renovations (and still is), especially the antique harbor area, with 17th century buildings. There is a very large 'suk' style flea market, naturally with fakes but also some real bargains. Avner's shop is located in one of the best spots on a high hill in the middle of the old city (Kedumim square).

Artzi was so kind as to welcome us at his home. After excellent coffee and cheesecake he let me look through some of the items he had on hand. I choose the two pieces pictured. I have since ordered 4 more, a katar and three Jambiyas.
