Cameroon sword?

I just won the auction for this and, as usual, I have no idea what it is. It seems to bear a distant resemblance to those "scorpion" shaped blades from Cameroon, so maybe that's a hint? A chunk of the hilt is missing and there's a big crack in the blade.

An interesting and unusual form - my guess is Congo, perhaps Teke people or thereabouts ?

There are a lot of similarities with this Teke knife,

Very similar, thanks both for pointing me in the right direction. It should be arriving in the mail in the next day or two. Should I do anything about that giant split in the blade? I'm worried it might grow and eventually split in two.
