Hello
Im the new owner of this knife and I donīt have information about it. The knife has 2 marks in the handle, one with WILLIAM F. CODY and other with HAYS CITY 1869.
The blade is engraved and in the base has silver.
any information is welcome, age ? country of origin?

Holla Carlos,
You may certainly realize that this is a modern souvenir example, most probably American production from the 20th center; admitting a certain added value if, as you say, the mountings are in silver.
If you browse the Net you will find that Hays City is associated to the life of William (Buffalo Bill) Cody and is where Wild Bill Hickok briefly served as sheriff precisely in 1869.

American presentation knives can be expensive, sometimes very expensive. This knife looks somewhat like a small Chinese dao, dressed up in western style.
