I recently acquired this Sudanese arm dagger which I know are common but havnt seen one with this shaped blade ?
what do you guys think ?

Hi,
This blade is made from a metal file. Some people look down on that, but in remote areas, this steel (together with steel from taken from old weapons) was simply the best steel available. I think it shows that the makers cared about the quality of the blade and it WAS superior to locally made steel. I have shown a few in the past http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...light=Shibriya

Agree with Motan. Nice Sudanese arm dagger! :) There are many nomadic sub tribes living in Sudan so there are different blade shapes and also different scabbard styles. Here one I've sold recently which look different.
