Hi,
Another item I picked up in a lot sometime ago. A bit on the modern side but I think a nice item. This one I believe is a junior officers sword and is dated 1915. I particularly like the pipeback/quill blade. It has lost the wire wrap on the grip but overall in quite good condition. This one has been sharpened, I guess the total mechanisation of warfare hadn't fully sunk in yet.
Regards,
Norman.

We can read "Adjudant d'Infanterie Modèle 1845".
But of course you know that, Norman.
