Hi , ive recently acquired this unusual club , im not 100% sure where it comes from though I wouldn't say its African .
any ideas ?

Interesting, I'll go for Fiji, but a later piece maybe ??

Yes its a tricky one , the Fijians did make a club very similar called a Votovotoa , at first I thought papua new guinea but most of there clubs had stone heads , I don't thinks it aboriginal , I do feel it could be Fijian

I have seen similar clubs to this in museums from Papua New Guinea . Nice club.

Can you explain your use of the word "aboriginal" here? Do you mean indigenous Australians? An aboriginal is the original inhabitant of any place. ;)
