japanese sword blade?? age??
 
hello,
just got offered this katana blade.. I was wounder if it is of any age..
I know that even in the19th centaury Chinese were already replicating Japanese sword blades...
anyone can translate the tang signature and give a date for its production???

The best place to get an answer to your question would be the Nihonto Message Board. The entire signature (mei) needs to be posted in the way that I have edited your image in order for anyone to read it correctly.
