Red Wooden Mask

I inherited a collection of masks from a relative who died several years ago. From time to time I will be posting pictures of them. I would be grateful to those who comment on them and also any books people can recommend to learn more. Attached is one that's made of wood and dyed with a red pigment of some sort. I would love to know where its from, its age, and how it was used. Thank you.
