Help wanted for African artifacts

Hello all,
I recently found several I believe African artifacts. I am attaching photos of the biggest one of which I wonder if it is a ceremonial spearhead, staff, currency or what? It is made of iron, 25.5 inches long .Opinions are very welcome. Thank you.
Eduardo.

Hi

These spears with two or more points are thought to have been used by native diviners/medical practitioners/rainmakers or similar. Nice piece, perhaps from the Sudan area ?

Colin,
Thanks for the info. I really donīt know the origin, perhaps someone else can help with this. Do you have any idea how old it could be? I know it has no relation but when I found it, it was very rusted, this is why I have to clean it and maybe it now looks quite new.
Regards,
Eduardo

Hi Eduardo

Its hard to estimate the age, but certainly pre-1950 at least.

Regards
Colin
