Overall length:56 cm (22 in.)
Blade length: 43.5 (17.1 in.)

The scales don't look like ivory.

The activity in the blade looks like acid etching to simulate a pattern welded core.

Maybe I'm wrong...

Walrus ivory, which other similar examples reportedly have. Or possibly bone.

The fuller section looks to be inserted.

I was initially inclined to think acid etching, but there is quite a contrast between the colours of the metal in that section.

I'm afraid i agree with Rick. The activity looks like an acid etch and the grip looks like bone, not walrus ivory. Of course, in hand or with different photos that opinion could change.
