African blades ID request

4 Attachment(s)
Hi all, long time lurker here, I have a trio of African blades of uncertain origin/ethnic attribution though I have my suspicions.

Blade A is reminiscent of a Guduf sword from Cameroon though the blade and hilt have enough differences from other examples I have seen to make me doubt the ID

Blade B vaguely resembles a Rwandan Tutsi sword in my collection, particularly the decoration on the scabbard and hilt, but I'm also not confident in this ID

Lastly, blade C is the most mysterious to me, the leather scabbard looks a bit like some Manding leather-work but the dagger itself looks nothing like any Manding daggers I've ever come across.

Your help identifying any of these would be much appreciated

Hi ADS,

example "B" I would place more to the South, Shona I think!

Detlef

Hi Detlef, thanks for your insight, I did not consider the Shona as a possible ID but it does bear some resemblance now that you mention it
