Qajar axe and mace info/value help needed.

Hi, this is my first post. While searching the internet I found this site and looks like some good knowledge here.

I searched first and found a post by Salvano with similar looking pieces. Valjhun responded with good information.

Just trying to find out as much information as I can and an idea of value. I have attached some pictures, sorry about the poor quality. I am a terrible picture taker.

Thanks for any help

There are lots of similar pieces at www.oriental-arms.com, have a look around there and it should give you some ideas.

Here is an example:

Welcome to the forum, WF1. :) I missed your post.

I know precious little about these weapons, so will wait for more knowlegable members to comment. However, I can suggest you take a look at the new book Arms and Armor from Iran by Manouchehr Moshtag Khorasani, as he discusses these weapons in detail.

We don't provide public appraisals or valuations, but members are welcome to contact you directly via email or PM.

Best,
Andrew
