North Borneo Parang

Hello,

I'm not sure of the origin of this parang.
This parang seems to be a utilitarian object (a working machete) and not a weapon.
I have no idea of his age but it seems to be quite old.
The blade, very simple, is made of forged steel and measures 38cm long
Overall length: about 53cm

After some research, I found an old anonce for this parang on interenet, (but I didn't buy it from this seller). It's said that this parang is potentially Murut.

I have difficulty finding information to confirm or not this hypothesis.
What do you think?
