Possible kalinga head axe

Hello all,
another item from the recent auction.
Was hoping to get comments on the axe. The axe head appears to me to be of Northern Luzon origin (Tinguian-Kalinga) but the haft is a little odd to me. Maybe of a later addition, the wood is a kind of greenish colour and absent of the usual spur. The collar(?) is also short. I have posted a photo with dimensions and thickness measurements. Any comments greatly appreciated.

Hi

I agree with your comments - the head looks original, but the haft does not seem correct, probably a replacement.

Hello Imas,

yes, the head seems original, the different thickness of the blade is a good sign but the haft seems to be not original.

Regards,
Detlef
