Mexican? spanish? or maybe Philippine bowie?

This is my last adquisition, this bowie I just win in Ebay. I´n not sure where is his origin. The description is "12-1/2" overall, about 7-1/2 cutting edge, weighs 6 ozs, The blade's magnetic but the other parts are not (possibly silver?).

The larger part of the handle looks like walnut wood and the smaller like an opaque plastic - with the natural-looking flaws in both parts I'd not be surprised if they were bone though... "
In the blade has engraved "SOY TU DEFENZA" and this, more or less is spanish and mean "I´m your defense"
I have 2 knives very similar like this from Philippines.
Someone coud help me?
best regards
carlos

my initial reaction was filipino, but the engraving of the jaguar, etc. looks mexican.

found these mexican bowies on this site: Linky that look very similar, turned grips, etc

This is Mexican and not Filipino. The handle can be confusing and I can understand.
