Hello,
Thank you all for sharing your passion and knowledge so generously.
I have an old club that I would like to know more about.
It is 65cm long made of two color hard wood and has a flattened head.
Here are 2 pictures and another one I found on line that look simmilar.
Is it a knobkerrie? Is it African at all?
Thank you for your help.

Its probably from Southern Africa, but not all that old.

Thank you.

Could also be from south western Ethiopia

Thank you Martin.
If I may ask you both, what are the specific signs that indicate in your opinion the two possible origins?

I bought nearly the same on Omo river in Ethiopia some time ago - at least the shape is the same. The bulbous part is a little bit flattened from the sides, creating something like edge. On the other side - if there are beads on the handle (see second Picture) - this is mostly the sign of southern Africa (but not only).

Thank you very much Martin.
