I have no idea what it is, although if I were asked to guess I would say that it looks to have been a part of a oceanic canoe/boat. What do you think?

Measurement = 28 inches tall by 20 inches wide.

Can we see a picture from the back? Look african to my eyes. :shrug: Wooden door lock?
